I have been interested in photography for many years. When I was a youngster growing up in the country and the outdoors I loved to photograph nature and all the animals we had. When I left home and got out into the work world I didn't photograph much. About 13 years ago when I moved to the Pacific Northwest and got back to nature I started taking photos again. I then met my husband who is a photographer and loves the outdoors. We started going out and photographing and he has taught me many things about photography. We both love the outdoors and photography so we go camping, hiking and backpacking and photograph as we go. My favorite things to shoot are flowers and anything in nature. I would love to photograph animals in the wild. I am one of those persons who can sit and wait to shoot the wolf pup coming out of the den or the eagle to feed it's young. Photography has given me the opportunity to closely observe things one might not see if not looking for a picture. I like sharing the beauty I see. Beauty is all around us we just have to look and see it!
